Jonathan McLaughlin

Jonathan McLaughlin grew up in the coastal town of Washington, North Carolina as a proud Eastern North Carolina native. After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1999, he spent 15 years building a successful career in the financial industry in Charlotte, specializing in personal investments and lending for both individuals and businesses. His financial expertise laid the foundation for his deep understanding of the market.

In 2008, Jonathan relocated to the Southport-Oak Island area, where he continued his banking career as a Commercial Loan Officer. Over the next 8 years, he gained invaluable experience underwriting loans for investors, home builders, and businesses, becoming highly knowledgeable about Brunswick County’s real estate market. In 2017, Jonathan obtained his NC Real Estate License and joined Margaret Rudd & Associates, Inc., REALTORS®, using his financial background to expertly guide clients through their real estate decisions.
