Looking for a place to celebrate this Saint Patrick's Day? You're in luck. The Southport area is home to some great local watering holes. These are our real estate agents' favorite places to enjoy a frosty pint on St. Patty's Day in Southport!

  • Dry Street Pub & Pizza - 101 E Brown St, Southport, NC 28461
    In addition to making some of the best pizza in Southport, Dry Street Pub & Pizza is always reliable when you need a fun, laid-back hangout spot. They also feature an ever-evolving selection of 60-plus beers, including import, craft and domestic. Chances are, whatever you prefer to sip on, you'll find it here. Dry Street Pub & Pizza is located within walking distance of several prime Southport homes for sale, and they have an excellent outdoor patio in the shade of the Southport Water Tower.

  • Moore Street Oyster Bar - 110 E Moore St, Southport, NC 28461
    It should come as no surprise that Southport offers some truly great seafood restaurants. Moore Street Oyster Bar leads the pack, with fresh oysters, steamer pots, and excellent fish n' chips. Oysters are served half a dozen different ways at Moore Street Oyster Bar; and if you just can't decide, they offer a sampler platter that includes a few of each. If you want a cold one to wash them down, rest assured that Moore Street has a great beer selection, which includes Guinness on draft.

  • The Pub of Southport - 1513 N Howe St, Suite 10, Southport, NC 28461
    The Pub of Southport is a classic Irish pub. They serve over 60 varieties of whiskey and offer an array of draft beers that usually include a few Irish staples like Smithwick's, Guinness and Harp Lager. Established in 2009, the Pub of Southport is always a friendly neighborhood haunt. They serve traditional Irish pub fare (shepherds' pie, fish n' chips) as well as American bar food (burgers, shrimp po'boys) and often host live music. Their motto is the Irish phrase céad míle fáilte, which translates to "a hundred thousand welcomes."

  • Southport Tap and Cellar - 827 N Howe St, Southport, NC 28461
    If you're a craft beer aficionado, you should definitely make visiting Southport Tap and Cellar a priority this St. Patrick's Day. With over 20 rotating taps, Southport Tap and Cellar always has a fantastic selection of draft beers ready to pour, many of them coming from regional micro-brewers right here in North Carolina. They keep well over 100 varieties of bottles and cans on deck too, and have an excellent selection of wines from around the world. This is definitely the best place in town to find something new and exciting to sip on.

  • Oasis Bar & Grill - 8039 River Rd SE, Southport, NC 28461
    A beloved local watering hole, Oasis Bar & Grill serves up cold drinks and tasty pub grub in a cozy, welcoming space. What more could one ask for? This is a place where a lot of locals gather for lunch or after-work drinks. The menu is packed with staples like wings, burgers, po'boys and quesadillas and coconut shrimp, all prepared to perfection. The staff is always friendly, and the bar serves up a revolving selection of draft beer. Fish n' chips is the menu special most Fridays, and you can count on Guinness being on tap for St. Patty's Day!
